微軟準備推7吋平板

知情人士披露，軟體巨擘微軟（Microsoft）正著手研發新系列的平板電腦，包括7吋螢幕的版本，並預計今年稍晚進入量產階段。

該名人士說，推出7吋平板的計畫並非源自微軟去年的策略，微軟內部瞭解他們必須對小平板需求快速成長的趨勢作出回應，例如Google去夏發表的7吋Nexus和蘋果的iPad mini。

根據IDC，去年第4季平板的出貨量中，8吋以下的平板占了半數。

微軟的主管已公開承認，消費者對觸控螢幕裝置的價位需求比微軟提供的價格更低，而微軟的對手能做到這點。為了讓Windows 8裝置更有吸引力，他們將觸控螢幕與平板產品上，推出更廣泛的價格選擇。

賀寶芙聲明KPMG終止審計關係事件

針對KPMG前合夥人涉及內線交易遭美國司法當局調查事件，賀寶芙公司發布聲明說，該事件導致KPMG終止擔任賀寶芙審計人，純屬KPMG前員工之不法行為，與賀寶芙之財務報表或管理團隊誠信無關。

賀寶芙公司表示，有關KPMG於2013年4月8日發布通知，終止擔任賀寶芙獨立會計師業務一事，「此事為KPMG一名曾負責賀寶芙審計業務之合夥人，因個人私下涉及股票內線交易，因而中止雙方之業務關係。同時KPMG也表示，此純屬其前員工之不法行為，與賀寶芙之財務報表、會計原則或是管理團隊的誠信，並無任何之關連」。

統一與維力合併案訴訟 法院判統一敗訴
